The grape blend is typically dominated by Merlot, complemented by Cabernet Franc and a smaller proportion of Cabernet Sauvignon, allowing for ripe fruit expression, supple tannins, and good balance. The vines are carefully managed to ensure low yields and optimal ripeness, with harvest often carried out by hand and parcel by parcel. In the cellar, the winemaking emphasizes gentle extraction, temperature-controlled fermentation, and élevage in French oak barrels, part of which are new, to enhance depth, texture, and complexity while preserving the elegance of the fruit.
