Viticulture
Felluga Livio is a renowned vineyard in Friuli, a northeastern Italian region known for producing elegant and expressive white wines. The Ribolla Gialla from this estate reflects the character of the local terroir, combining freshness, finesse, and a distinct mineral backbone. Grown on the hills of Friuli, the grapes benefit from a favorable climate and varied soils that help preserve vibrant acidity and aromatic purity. The result is a lively, well-balanced wine with notes of citrus, green apple, white flowers, and a subtle savory finish, typical of this traditional regional variety.
Oenology
Suggestions for accompaniment
Fresh, crisp and lightly floral, Felluga Livio Ribolla Gialla from Friuli pairs best with delicate dishes that highlight its brightness and subtle mineral character. Ideal with seafood appetizers such as scallops, shrimp carpaccio, oysters, or marinated white fish. It also works well with light first courses like risotto with herbs, lemon pasta, seafood linguine, or gnocchi with zucchini and mint. For main dishes, choose grilled sea bass, baked sole, or chicken with mild herbs and citrus. As side dishes, serve asparagus, artichokes, fennel salad, zucchini, or steamed green vegetables. Soft cheeses, fresh goat cheese, and light vegetable tarts are also excellent matches.
