Château L'Hospitalet Gérard Bertrand
Château L’Hospitalet Gérard Bertrand is a renowned vineyard and estate located near Narbonne, in the heart of the Languedoc-Roussillon region in southern France. Set between the Mediterranean Sea, the garrigue, and the surrounding hills, it benefits from a warm, sunny climate tempered by sea breezes, which is ideal for producing expressive wines. The estate is known for its wide range of wines, particularly elegant reds, fresh whites, and aromatic rosés that reflect the character of the local terroir. The history of Château L’Hospitalet is closely linked to the legacy of the former hospital and inn that once stood on this site, welcoming travelers and pilgrims for centuries. More recently, the estate was acquired and restored by Gérard Bertrand, a major figure in the wines of Languedoc, who transformed it into a flagship property for the region. Today, Château L’Hospitalet is both a working vineyard and a place dedicated to wine tourism, hospitality, and the promotion of the Mediterranean art of living.
