Viticulture

Champagne Jeeper, Grand Assemblage (sans étui), is a refined expression of the Champagne region, showcasing the elegance and balance that define this celebrated appellation. Crafted from a carefully considered blend of grapes, it offers a bright and harmonious profile, with fresh citrus, ripe orchard fruit, and delicate floral notes supported by fine bubbles and a clean, lively finish. The style is polished and accessible, combining freshness and depth in a way that reflects both tradition and modern precision. Ideal for aperitifs or pairing with light dishes, it captures the distinctive character of Champagne with grace and finesse.

Oenology

Champagne Jeeper Grand Assemblage (sans étui) is a refined Champagne from the prestigious Champagne region, crafted to express elegance, balance, and freshness. Produced from a careful blend of traditional Champagne grape varieties, it typically combines Chardonnay for finesse and brightness, Pinot Noir for structure and depth, and Pinot Meunier for roundness and fruitiness. The wine is made using the traditional Champagne method, with a second fermentation in the bottle, which creates its delicate bubbles and complex texture. In oenological terms, this cuvée is designed to showcase harmony between ripe fruit, floral notes, and subtle brioche-like nuances developed during aging on the lees. The style is usually precise and lively, with a fine mousse, a fresh acidic backbone, and a clean, persistent finish. The absence of the gift box (“sans étui”) does not affect the wine itself, only its presentation. Overall, Champagne Jeeper Grand Assemblage embodies the classic craftsmanship of Champagne, offering both immediate pleasure and a level of complexity suited to aperitif service or refined gastronomic pairings.

Suggestions for accompaniment

Champagne Jeeper, Grand Assemblage (sans étui) pairs beautifully with elegant seafood dishes such as oysters, scallops, lobster, and sashimi, as well as delicate fish like sole or sea bass with light citrus or buttery sauces. It also works well with poultry, such as roast chicken or turkey, and refined appetizers like smoked salmon, blinis, caviar, and fresh goat cheese. As accompanying dishes, choose light salads, asparagus, creamy risotto, fine vegetable tarts, or mashed potatoes with herbs. For cheese, prefer mild and creamy styles like Brie, Chaource, or young Comté.

Champagne Jeeper

Champagne Jeeper is a vineyard and Champagne house located in the Champagne region of France, known for producing elegant sparkling wines that reflect the character of its terroir. The estate works with vineyards spread across the Champagne appellation, combining traditional expertise with a modern style of winemaking. Its champagnes are appreciated for their freshness, finesse, and balance, often showcasing the classic grape varieties of Champagne such as Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Pinot Meunier. The house has a relatively modern history compared with some of the older Champagne producers, and it was named “Jeeper” after the American Jeep vehicle used by one of its founders during the Second World War, a detail that remains part of its identity.
